Make sure you have a place for the fed-ex guy to drop a pallet, yes I'm talking "beep beep beep, ca-chunk" pallet. These guys are 90+ pounds each, the poor guy/gal is not going to walk up with 4 in hand :)
If you're using these for solar, buy double what you think you'll need, your investment will last a lot longer that way and give you some wiggle room on consecutive cloudy days.

Big tip for off-grid use: You never want to mix and match batteries for your battery bank; same brand, same voltage, same Amp-hour capacity. This will maximize their life. And try to buy all you need at the same time. Adding new batteries to existing old batteries doesn't work all that well.
Normally, regular flooded lead acid batteries are the cheapest way to go for off grid use, but these are not that much more expensive, and it's certainly worth not having to deal with checking water levels and dealing with explosive and corrosive fumes. In reality they are not fully sealed, but they will not leak or lose water. You don't want to enclose them with electronics because of the potential buildup of hydrogen gas. If you use these on a boat you will have to keep them in a separate ventilated container away from ignition sources, or you will not pass Coast Guard inspections.
Judging from the ratings I don't expect a problem, which is why I bought these instead of cheaper batteries, but like everything in life, time will tell how long they last.
I bought this as part of an emergency power backup and my system should be able to run my fridge 24/7 if I calculated everything correctly. I might even set it up to power the fridge regardless and try to save a little off my electric bill. Yeah, I know, don't expect much of a drop. Going solar is expensive and you certainly don't do it to save money. It IS good, however, for emergency power as well as remote locations without grid power. I'm a bit of a 'prepper' (don't really like that term) from living in hurricane country most of my life (I've since moved but still like to be prepared for the unexpected). If you've ever been a week or so without power you understand where I'm coming from, and gas for a generator can be tough to find when all the gas stations are closed for lack of power to run their pumps, and if you do find some open, they usually ration how much you can buy, so you have to keep running back for more. Just ask people who went through Hurricane Sandy.
I've added a pic of my set up. I've since changed my charge controller to something a little better.
